Critters

More of "them" inhabit our vast planet than exist of "us" --- fascinating to watch, tempting to anthropomorphize, mysterious and wondrous on the one hand but intricate and precise if understood scientifically, often a challenge to photograph well.  Images of some of the miscellaneous "critters" we've encountered in our backyard and on our travels will be added periodically to this gallery.  Larger groups of critters (birds, animals of Tanzania) can be found in those galleries.
