A photograph retains an instant in time, what the photographer saw and the film or light sensor recorded, an image of what was in the moment, and which others may later observe. But for me the heart of photography dwells more in how we feel in the moment of making the image and how the viewer responds esthetically and emotionally to the photograph. To this end, often most rewarding to me as a photographer is creating abstract images or in isolating a detail or unusual perspective.  These galleries represent some of my developing series of abstract images.
